Preamble

This policy shall be called “The Privacy Policy of The Law Brigade Group”. The policy shall be applicable to all users of this website (thelawbrigade.com/) as well as any subdomain website or subdirectory websites of thelawbrigade.com. This policy lays down the legal use of personal information as well as the collection and dissemination of personal information.

Section 1.1 – How do we collect your information?

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When you fill-up the contact form of any of our website, the data gets recorded and saved in our database and we use the data to connect with you until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We use Google Analytics to track and collect data. Google Analytics can collect a lot of data about how you use our website(s). At its most basic, it will collect:

If you visit our website, we record and store the visiting data indefinitely.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Section 4.1 – Service Used by The Libertatem Group

We use Razorpay, Instamojo, Paytm for Business & PayU for processing payments. We/Razorpay, Instamojo, Paytm for Business or PayU do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

Section 4.2 – Adherence to the Payment Security Standards

Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
